Small Australian Projects’ Launch Party a Huge Success

Brisbane, QLD, March 30, 2008 - - - More than 70 guests enjoyed the launch of the Small Australian Projects on Thursday evening, March 26th. The event was held at their newly opened showroom on 60 James Street in Fortitude Valley.

The event not only launched the showroom, but also introduced the inaugural Donovan Hill range. Guests were able to view the inaugural range, while a projector flashed sneak previews of future ranges designed by upcoming designers M3 architecture, John Wardle Architects and Durbach Block Architects.

The launch took the form of a party for an assortment of distinguished guests including esteemed architects and designers, retailers, press, industry representatives, manufacturers and past clients.

Founder of Small Australian Projects, Toby Lewis said that the launch was an opportunity for guests to find out more about the company and the furniture. “This launch gave our guest’s the opportunity to truly experience the furniture”, he said.

“Our furniture is designed by architects and every aspect of the design has a purpose. This event allowed guests to see the furniture in its tangible form and discuss the pieces with the designers themselves”, said Mr Lewis.

“It was a great opportunity for both our clients and our designers to get together”, he said.

With the showroom now officially open along James Street, Small Australian Projects settles into Brisbane’s ever-expanding designer hub. They are currently open from Monday through to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and by appointment on Sunday.
